FAREWELL!!! =)

Before this my grammar and writing are very bad. I think my writing and grammar is improve and become better now even just a little bit. Miss Zu gave a lot of work to make a student clever and good in english. Miss Zu also did a lot of activities to make her class fun and interesting. Actually Miss Zu want to eliminate the boredom iin her class.

Miss Zu also use blogging as one of the way of learning. But for me it is very difficult task because we need to update the blog for 3times per week.We dont have enough time to update this blog because we have a lot of work to do. In addition, some of us dont have the internet connection and some of them dont have laptop at all. For me, it is burden to student and can lead to stress.

However, the way of learning that Miss Zu use are useful for us. It can improve our english in writing and grammar. Other than that, it is for make the student familiar wth the technology by using the computer. For me, thi is the creative way to make some people interested in new way of learning.

But I am prefer writing in the book rather than blogging even before this I already create a blog and it take a month to create it because I am not good in using the technology.

THURSDAY ( 21 MARCH 2013 )

Today we have replacement class at night and this is our last class for bel class this sem and I hope this is the last for me taking this subject.huhu. Our activity for today class is, Miss Zu discussed about the reading comprehension for the final paper at 27 march 2013. She teached us how to answer the question. At the same time, Miss Zu also teached about how to write the essay. We can find the material for the essay at the reading comprehension. They give two artcle and the article have a relation topic.

      After that Miss Zu ask us to filled up the survey. Suddenly Miss Zu went out and she asked us to finished it our work. Then after we finished it, Miss Discussed the answer for the second article and hen we finished the class. Before that Miss Zu asked us go to the next class beause she has ready some food for us. Miss Zu you are so sweet and make us felt touching and like want to crying. Miss Zu you are so kind even you gave us a lot of work.

WEDNESDAY ( 20 MARCH 2013 )

Today we came earlier to class. Before the class start, Miss Zu checked about the quizzes mark. Because of the server, the marks become weird. Some of them already did it but there is no mark there. Miss pause about the quizzes first because she want to continue with some activity.

Miss zu asked the twins to present infront. They need to present about the discussion essay. Miss Zu give the chance to them for explained about it. Miss Zu said that discuusion essay is easy than other essay. A discussion essay presents and discusses issues surrounding a particular topic--usually one that is debatable and open to argument. A good discussion essay must include a thorough discussion of both sides of the topic. It should provide a well-rounded understanding of the issues before the writer presents his personal opinions and conclusions. As with most persuasive essay formats, the discussion essay's quality relies primarily on the writer's ability to provide solid research and evidence to present different views of the topic.

TUESDAY ( 19 MARCH 2013 )

             Today our class gonna start a bit late because we are waiting for others that still not coming yet. Miss Zu start our class by ask us reading the poem at the screen. Salihin read the poem but I dont understand it at all. After Miss Zu read it, now I can understand it.


           Actually Miss Zu did that because she want us to conclude what is the poem all about. The poem is about that in our life we have a lot of dangerous and barrier so we need to fight until we success. For example, we as a student have a lot of exam. So we need to study hard and fight with the exam until we get a flying colours.

         
            After we finished about the poem, Miss Zu continued with another activity. Like usual, she divide us into 5 group. My member is sarah, diba and mida. Miss Zu show us some video clip and we need to conlude the story and give some evidence about what we have conclude.Our group not lucky today because we always misunderstanding the story. We think out of the box too much.HaHa. So funny.Nevermind we will do better after this. After we finsh the game, the class was dismiss.

Before Miss Zu start the class with the lessons, she arrange our timetable for the speaking test first. Our group need to extend to thursday evening because Miss Zu have a class at wednesday night. After finished the things, Miss Zu continue the class with the argumentative writing. For an argument essay to be effective, it must contain certain elements. For this reason, you must take a few minutes to plan and prepare before you jump into writing an argument essay. To find good topic for an argument essay you should consider several issues that will have two conflicting points of view or very different conclusions. As you look over a list of topic you should find one that really sparks your interest. While a strong interest in a topic is important, it's not enough to be interested. You have to consider what position you can back up with reasoning and evidence. It's one thing to have a strong belief, but when shaping an argument you'll have to explain why your belief is reasonable and logical. Next step, you should consider both sides of your topic and take a position. Once you have selected a topic you feel strongly about, you should make a list of points for both sides of the argument and pick a side. After Miss Zu teach us about argumentative and show some example, then she asked us to write the argumentative essay. The title is "Women are becoming bolder as well as more agressive and men are more sensitive. Agree or disagree with the statement." Miss Zu want us submit the essay next monday. Even we have three test but we still need to submit it. Nevermind that is student life. Aja aja fighting!!

MONDAY ( 11 MARCH 2013 )

Salam. Hye You alls. Today Miss Zu start our class with give time and date for the group speaking test doing their test. Next Miss Zu ask group number five did the practice for speaking test. Group five include Rozita, Diba, Pika and Wasim. Theydo a good job. Their group are quite good in doiing the speaking test. Everyone have the interaction while doing the speaking test and they also use the transitional words that Miss Zu already provide before this. We all give high marks for them. Diba got 14 marks, Wasim got 12 marks, Pika got 12 marks, and Rozita got 15 marks. After they finished their practises, Miss Zu ask all of us do the practise also in our own group. My was Kimah and Faiz Adha but Kimah was absent. So I just do the practise with Faiz Adha only.He is good in Speaking test and he also do not want to go back to room after the class finish and he still want to continue.We going back at 4.30 p.m

WEDNESDAY ( 6 MARCH 2013 )

Miss Zu came a bit late today because she had a meeting. Today we do speaking practice for preparation because next week is a speaking test. Miss Zu explains to us on how to do the speaking test on next week.Miss Zu divides us inti group for the becoming speaking test. Actually we want choose our own group but Miss Zu dont agree with that.So we must accept that. Group 1 need to do the example for do the speaking test. Group 1 are Ana, Faiz Othman, Bariyah and Asnawi. The title that given to faiz's group is about punctuality among Malaysian. We will give 1 minute to read the question and 5 minutes to write down our points and 20 minutes for discussion. We also provided by Miss Zu a paper that have a rubric on how we will graded by Miss Zu so we will give mark to faiz's group today. Miss Zu also gives us papers on how to do the speaking test and it like what we can use if we want to interrupt other person about the opinion. Let continue about giving a mark to faiz's group, after the discussion ended, Miss Zu asks us how much the mark we given to them. Most of us give the same mark as Miss Zu giving to them. Miss Zu also comments about them and what we have to do and what not. Before the class end, Miss zu give us 6 set of questions that we have to do during the weekend. Thanks to Miss Zu. Anyway we still have a replacement class at night. At night we are going to do the compare and contrast essay. Like usual, miss Zu divide into group and we need to do our part. Dont forget must put the text citation and reference. That is the word that Miss Zu like to repeat. Okeyh done. So see you again nextweek guys. bubye =0

Today we still do the self editing because most of us still not finished yet. After we all done doing the self editing, Miss Zu asked us to do the peer editing. We need to cpmenting another partner's outline, score their outline and also do the peer editing. I'm feel like lecturer because giving their mark..Muehehe!!! before this me and nadia already comenting Fatin and Ika' outline. So, now we change to comenting Zu and Hani's outline. We finished the class at 6 o'clock.

MONDAY ( 4 MARCH 2013 )

As usual our class at dewan sri peria, miss zu ask us to bring laptop. Before that, the last group still not doing forum then the last group continue doing it. Midah, Sara, Nadia Salihin, and Pikah azmi are the people in group 6,but pikah did not come to class because she had period pain. topic that sara's group discuss is about plastic bag, midah as ex minister of china, nadia as housewife and sara is the host.they did a well job just because 3 people in the forum make it look weird and silence. after that, miss zu gives us a paper per group and explain what we have to do. Wait!! before that,, i forgot, miss zu ask to choose which group is the best, the best host, and the best panel,, for me the best group is fikri's group, the best host is fikri and the best panel is faiz addha. hahahha! Ok finished about that. Let’s continue.,,we do self editing then after that we have to do peer editing but we still not done it yet,, we have to correcting our references. That is only our activity for today. The best is our class was dismiss early today.. Wah!! so heaven ;)

WEDNESDAY ( 27 FEBRUARY 2013 )

Today we were doing forum. I was very very excited doing forum because I like that.huhu!! The first group is Izany and I think their group is not bad. We enjoy laughing today. Haha this is because we can see our friends talk infront of people. Then, group number 2,3 4 present their forum.That was a happy day because everyone laughing a lot. After all the 4 group present, our turn that is group number 5 need to do the forum. I was a bit nervouse because I am the host. Our program name is Listen! Listen! With Naddy N. So "POYO' but it is fun. Tyra as a Doctor from Columbia Hospital, Ana as a student from Taylor's University that has an experience about that topic, Syafiqah as nutritious and salihin as a gym coach in Fitness Centre at Damansara. Our group was the last group that need to do the forum because we dont have enough time to finished it. Group 6 will present it tomorrow. So, I think the best host is Fikri and the best panel is Faiz Adha. The best group is all 5 group. Good job friends!! You all already did your best =)

Hello people! Today Miss Zu was very cheerful. She explained about references. She said that we need to do references for our term paper and also in final exam. So she explained using textbook. She teached us how to do the correct references. It is a bit difficult and complicated I guess. After finished it the explanation we have divide into group. Guess what? we nedd to do the forum and I was very like it. My members in group are Tyra, Syafiqah Salleh, Ana and Salihin. We got topic about many young girls strive very hard to be thin. Some of them starve themselves to look thinwhile others induce vomiting. This has resulted in teenage eating disorders which affect their health. As a concerned citizen, suggest the best solutions to this problem. Give reasons for your choice. Miss Zu gives us time to discuss about our topic and present it tomorrow. The end. K bye =)

MONDAY ( 25 FEBRUARY 2013 )

Today we brought our laptop to the class because Miss zu want to check our draft essay. She want us to do peer editing. We need to change our essay with other group. For argumentative essay me and Nadia Salihin need to change do the commenting with Fatin and Ika Kardi. So, I give Fatin my soft copy of essay so that she can do commenting. While waiting for Fatin and Ika commenting on our essay, me and Nadia also  do the comenting. That's all we do for today. But we have replacement class tonight. We will write an essay again. Huh !At night class, we are doing problem solution essay. As usual Miss zu will explained more detailed to us about that type of essay. Thank god, this essay only have 2 pattern. Miss zu said this problem-solution essay is the most easier. Then, we played a game. But this time we need to put in text citation. We can use goggle to find the information. I'm doing body paragraph and Miss zu said at least has one in text citation in the  paragraph. I think this time much better because we are not rushing to do the essay.  Hopefully, everything will be fine. Kbye !

Today our class was at CLL. Before this Miss Zu said that she want to check our blog but she didnt.Phew!!! Today we are going to learn about body paragraph. Miss Zu said after this we will continue do our term paper when she gives back our outline. So that's why she taught about the body paragraph. But for today, Miss Zu only explained for causes and effect first. Causes and effect have five pattern of body paragraph."The body paragraphs are the 'meat' of your work. Each paragraph should be composed of related sentences that make a single point. Together they should develop your controlling idea or thesis and maintain unity by supporting the claim made in your topic sentence.Each paragraph should have a topic sentence that provides a supporting idea for the thesis and indicates to the reader what the paragraph will discuss. Miss Zu also taught about the transition signal. After Miss Zu finished the lectures, the class continue with some activity. We are divided into five group. Every group need to watched different video then we need to do causes and effect essay by what we understand from the video. Every person need to do one paragraph then combined it. My group include nadia, nabila, rozita, hani, zubaidah, ana and tyra. Our title is overuse drug. Then after we finished combined it, Miss Zu check it then we can go back. The class end at 6 o'clock.

Today our activity was doing a debate. I really like debate especially debate in malay.We are divided into four group. Two group was doing a topic about "is it considers cheating when your partner (girlfriend / boyfriend / husband / wife) was checking on other beautiful girls / boys / men / women on facebook like poking,liking and etc". One group as a government and one group as an opponent. After the two group finished debate about their topic then another two group need to debate about their topic. The topic is "is it true that men are easy to work with and more creative than women especially when it involves group work. My group include me, rozita, fatin, inayah, nina,nawi, and izzat. We as the opponent disagree with the topic. We got a lot of things to disagree with them and they also got a lot of word to back up this topic. After we finished it the debate, Miss Zu asked us to rating and choose which one should win. For the first topic the winner is group 2 while for the second topic we are tied.The best debater is Faiz adha and Rozita Ghafar.That was interesting activity because I love debate.Then the class end at 4 o'clock.

 

 

 

TUESDAY ( 15 JANUARY 2013 )

Today our class start at 4 o'clock. Miss Zu explained about the thesis statement that we need to do in term paper. Miss Zu explained it according to types of writing such as compare and contrast, discussion, problem solving, argumentatative and cause and effect essay. The thesis statement is that sentence or two in your text that contains the focus of your essay and tells your reader what the essay is going to be about. Although it is certainly possible to write a good essay without a thesis statement (many narrative essay for example, contain only an implied thesis statement), the lack of a thesis statement may well be a symptom of an essay beset by a lack of focus. Many writers think of a thesis statement as an umbrella: everything that you carry along in your essay has to fit under this umbrella, and if you try to take on packages that don't fit, you will either have to get a bigger umbrella or something's going to get wet. The thesis statement usually appears near the beginning of a paper. It can be the first sentence of an essay, but that often feels like a simplistic, unexciting beginning. It more frequently appears at or near the end of the first paragraph or two. After Miss Zu explained it, she want us did the term paper and want to check it tomorrow. Today our class was at CLL. For today, Miss Zu dont do any activity but Miss Zu explaining about how to do the outline of the term paper. Miss Zu explained for every types of writing. we must include what we have learned in the outline such as pharapharasing and the summarising. The outline must do by using the pattern of  the writing. It is very hard just by look at front..Oh my english. Outlining is a crucial to any piece of writing. In academic writing, It is requires to organise the ideas in the form of outline.It is easier to organise the ideas by writing an outline rather than writing the complete paper. We must do the structure of an outline for an academic paper. There is also rules in preparing an outline. The outline should begin with a thesis statement. Then each outline must have three to four main ideas with supporting points and specific details to support each maint ideas. Next the outline must be numbered and can use the alphanumeric system, Notations should be included, where necessary, to fascilitate cross referrencing with the reference materials used when writing the paper. Just by read I know that was hard and I hope I can do it. the class dismissed at 6 o'clock.

TUESDAY ( 6 FEBRUARY 2013 )

Salam. Today is our last day to finish up oyr outline. Miss Zu gives us time to discussed and complete our outline until the class end at 6 o'clock. Miss Zu also help us check some word that we dont understand. We did that at the CLL class  from 4 o'clock. Me and Nadia try to finsh it today but still not finish because our topc was very hard. We open many of journal and try to ask Miss Zu and Nadia try to call her sister to get an info about the our topic which is part time lecturer. Finally it was a little bit left to finish up the outline. alhamdulillah. And the outline need to send before the Chinese New Year.

MONDAY ( 18 FEBRUARY 2013 )

Assalamualaikum. Today is our first class for bel after holiday one week.Our class was at Dewan Sri Peria. Ten people of my classmates did not attend the class. Some of them got MC because of fever and some of them was skip the class because they want to read CTU note. We have a test at night. Today activity is about inferences. Infer is an assumption or conclusion that is rationally and logically made based on the given facts or circumstances. An inference is based off facts, so the reasoning for the conclusion is often logical. While you ract, your inside voice make guesses, finds connecting points, asks questions and makes predictions. After Miss Zu explained about what is inference then we play some games. In the game we need to find who is actually the killer based on the card. But the card not show that the holder of the card is the killer. But we need to look at the clue which is other than the name at the card, what is left show it was the killer. After that we did another activity. Miss Zu divide us into 5 group. My group include me, Rozita, Sarah and Izzat. Miss Zu shows us three video and we need to guess what we think will happen depends on the clues from the video clips. The video is Toy Story 3, A Walk To Remeber and Music Video Grenade. The class end at 4 o'clock. That was interesting and rilex class. =)
